Delete your account

From inside the app
- Open PetCare and go to Profile.
- Scroll to Delete my account.
- Confirm. You will be signed out on every device.
By email
Email privacy@petcareembrace.com from the address your account is registered under, with the subject Delete my account. We use the sending address to confirm the request is really yours, which is why it has to come from the registered one.
We will acknowledge within 48 hours and complete the request within 30 days.
You have 30 days to change your mind
Nothing is erased the moment you ask. Your account is scheduled for deletion and signed out everywhere, and the data is permanently removed 30 days later.
If you sign in again during those 30 days, we will ask whether you want to keep the account. Choosing to keep it cancels the deletion entirely — signing in on its own does not, because logging in to check something is not the same as changing your mind.
After 30 days the data is gone and cannot be recovered by you or by us.
What is deleted
- Your account, email address, phone number and display name
- Your pets and animals, and their health records, vaccinations and reminders
- Your bookings and service history
- Your community posts, comments and votes
- Photos you uploaded
- Your saved places, favourites and notification settings
What is kept, and why
Financial records tied to completed transactions are retained after your account is deleted, because Indian law requires it — 6 years for income tax records and 72 months for GST records. These are kept for accounting and statutory reporting only, are not linked to an active profile, and are not used to contact you or to build any kind of profile of you.
PetCare currently runs in pay-at-clinic mode and does not process payments, so for most accounts today there is nothing in this category at all.
Content you posted publicly may remain visible in other people's saved copies or screenshots, which we have no way to reach.
Deleting some data without deleting the account
You do not have to delete everything to remove one thing. You can delete individual pets, posts and photos from inside the app and keep your account. If you want a specific category removed and cannot find how, email us and we will do it.
